Kirsten Adorno

LPC, MFTC

Whether you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or simply need a safe space to be heard, I am here to support you. As a licensed professional counselor and marriage and family therapist, I offer virtual therapy for individuals, couples, and families seeking meaningful change.

Our lives are narratives that include stories of triumphs, losses, joys, and wounds. As a therapist, it is an honor to be a part of the narratives of my clients—to get a glimpse of who you are through the lens of your stories.

Experience has taught me that relationships can be powerful and healing, which is why I seek to have a connection with my clients that rests on a foundation of trust and realness. I often integrate approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which focuses on building emotional security and connection in relationships.

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.” — Brené Brown

Working with Kirsten — What to Expect

Kirsten brings an attachment-based lens to both couples therapy and individual work, helping clients understand how early relational patterns shape their current connections. Her approach emphasizes emotional safety and honest communication — the foundation of relationships that last. She holds both LPC and MFTC credentials, reflecting her training in both individual and relational work. Kirsten is a strong fit for couples who feel disconnected, stuck in cycles, or want to build a stronger foundation before or after a major transition.

Kirsten sees clients in-person in Denver and via telehealth statewide. She is currently accepting new clients.
