My Philosophy

Healing can be difficult, but it can also be deeply transformative. Navigating the many relationships, choices, and tensions in your life may feel overwhelming or tenderly intertwined. Wherever your present needs find you, I am here to walk alongside you as you take the next step toward wholeness and healing. Through deeper presence and self-awareness, I will journey with you into the places of ambivalence, hurt, and longing — and support you in reintegrating with yourself.

My Counseling Approach

I approach counseling through a systems lens, believing that healing is not done in isolation but within the relationships and connections we hold dear. While we are impacted by the systems around us, we also hold the power to respond more adaptively to challenges, difficulties, and joys. My hope is to support you in discovering freedom, autonomy, and self-compassion so you can live life more fully.

I honor you as the expert of your own life. In our work together, I will hold space for you to embrace that truth and step more fully into your own story. My focus includes early attachment patterns, family-of-origin dynamics, reauthoring harmful narratives, and exploring identity formation across developmental, relational, and multicultural experiences — all with the aim of helping you live a more flourishing life.

Areas of Specialization

I work with both individuals and couples, offering support across a variety of challenges and life stages. My areas of focus include:

  • Relationship and Couples Therapy
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Identity Formation and Life Adjustments
  • Racial and Ethnic Identity Formation, Multigenerational Issues
  • Distress Tolerance, Building Emotional Safety through Healthy Attachment
  • Self-Esteem, Assertiveness, Self-Confidence

My Background

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. Originally from Florida, I am a second-generation Haitian-American who thrives in warmth and sunshine. I am an avid sports fan — especially basketball and football (Go Gators!). Before becoming a counselor, I worked in pediatric occupational therapy for four years.

I lead with an Enneagram Four and love exploring depth and meaning. My Five wing shows up in my passion for knowledge, research, and collecting books I’ve yet to finish. It is my hope that in our work together we can live, learn, and laugh along the way.
