My Philosophy

I am passionate about helping people explore who they authentically want to be in the world.

There are times in life when we feel lost, stuck, and overwhelmed by the complexity of emotions that encompass the human experience. Therapy can help us acknowledge these feelings and learn to work with them instead of resisting or avoiding them.

The ability to communicate your needs and desires honestly—with partners, family, friends, and co-workers—can help you live with more freedom and joy.

I believe we all seek meaningful connections and experiences, whether at home or work. Therapy provides an opportunity to explore what drives you and re-evaluate what might be holding you back.

Together, I hope to be a partner and ally in your therapy process. By highlighting your important life experiences, values, and perspectives, we can move forward toward establishing your personal goals and objectives.

My Background

Advocating for my clients’ mental health and well-being has always guided me throughout my career.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked with adults with disabilities and their families, helping individuals discover their true potential while addressing daily challenges through collaborative problem-solving.

I also worked in hospice care as a grief counselor. Pain and loss deserve to be witnessed—it’s only then that there becomes more room for healing and joy. Grief is not only about losing a loved one; we grieve transitions, relationship loss, and new beginnings. Therapy offers a space to process these experiences and find meaning in them.

I know how hard it is to walk into therapy for the first time. My goal is to gain your trust and help you build on the resilience you already have inside you. If you’ve been contemplating therapy, give me a call to see if I’m the right fit for you.

When I’m Not Working…

You’ll often find me at Red Rocks catching one of my favorite bands, on a road trip exploring Colorado, or reading on my back deck. I also love visiting the Denver Botanic Gardens and taking walks through local parks to slow down and appreciate Colorado’s beauty.
