There is magic in being truly seen—both by ourselves and in connection with others. When we embrace curiosity instead of judgment, we create space to peel back the layers of “shoulds” and inherited narratives, revealing our authentic selves. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey built on trust, respect, and genuine connection. More than anything, I want my clients to know they matter, their experiences are valid, and they already hold the strength and resources to grow and heal.
I work from a foundation of person-centered therapy, a non-directive approach rooted in the belief that every individual has the capacity to reach their full potential. I integrate somatic interventions, parts work, and evidence-based techniques such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—tailoring each session to the unique needs of my clients.
I welcome clients from all walks of life, but I am particularly passionate about working with:
I have extensive experience as a primary therapist and group facilitator at the Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) levels of care, allowing me to work with clients at different stages of healing. My approach is grounded in grace, acceptance, and psychological flexibility, helping clients challenge black-and-white thinking in favor of greater self-awareness and resilience.
Being a therapist is my dream job! I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from CU Boulder and initially pursued a career in writing and teaching. Over time, I realized that my love for storytelling was really a passion for understanding people—their complexities, emotions, and capacity for transformation. This led me to earn my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University, and I haven’t looked back.
I consider myself a lifelong learner, always seeking to grow both personally and professionally. Raised in a small mountain town, I developed a deep appreciation for nature, adventure, and the unique people drawn to these landscapes. Now, I’ve put down roots in Louisville, Colorado, where I live with my husband and three wild, wonderful kids. You’ll often find me getting lost in a great book, drinking one too many chai lattes, or soaking up time with family and friends.
