My Philosophy

One of my most profound memories as a young person was the desire to become "the same person everywhere", or the understanding of oneself so well that I no longer had to chameleon to be what made others ok with me. I feel that a significant journey for every person is to find one's authentic self, and until then we have to mold to the desires of others for us.

I love people, I am a deeply curious person, and love to learn about the world we live in. Walking with someone on their journey to their authentic self is one of the greatest joys a person can have. It is my privilege to get to do so as a counselor. It can be very intimidating to start a counseling relationship, but I hope to be a safe place for those who enter the counseling space. I will never ask you to do the work I have not yet done myself. Counseling has been and continues to be a place of healing for me, and a gift I want to pass on to others.

Although I love providing therapy for any and all, these are some areas I find myself working often:

  • Anxiety/Depression
  • Parenting
  • Pregnancy and Postpartum issues
  • Relationship issues
  • Couples
  • Young adult issues
  • Identity and life purpose
  • Neurodivergence in adults
  • Attachment
  • Body image/self-esteem

My Background

I hold a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Concordia University. I graduated with the highest honors, gaining a 4.0 in my coursework. I am originally from Oregon, but have lived in Colorado for over 15 years. I am an Enneagram 6w7, gardener, cook, mom, wife, and adventurer. I always have my nose stuck in a book and am a life-long learner. Being in relationship with all types of people is my favorite adventure of all!
