Grief is a natural and normal process; however, it can be difficult to know what to do moving forward with the variety of emotions that encompass the grief experience. The journey through grief can at times feel lonely, isolating, and overwhelming. The Full Bloom Grief support group can help you connect and share your loss with others, while also learning about your unique grief experience and how to more fully integrate the loss into your life.

Jillian Corpora a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) will provide psychoeducation and introduce resources that will help you in learning to cope with the loss of your loved one. Jillian learned as a grief counselor in Hospice that the grief journey is a process, not a destination, and grief needs to be witnessed in order for healing to begin

Questions the group may ponder:

What messages about grief no longer serve me?
What does meaning-making look like after loss?
What do I fear most about my grief?
Which parts of my relationship are hard to talk about with others?
What do I do with all this love I still have for my loved one?
I have changed because of this loss, what do I do with that?

“The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not “get over” the loss of a loved one: you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.”
