Understanding the No Surprises Act at Full Bloom Counseling

At Full Bloom Counseling, we are committed to providing transparent and predictable pricing for our therapy services. As part of our commitment to you, we comply with the No Surprises Act, a federal law that protects patients from unexpected medical bills.

What is the No Surprises Act?

The No Surprises Act aims to protect patients from surprise medical bills, particularly those from out-of-network providers. This includes a requirement for healthcare providers to give patients a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of expected charges before they receive treatment.

Our Good Faith Estimate (GFE) Policy

Before starting treatment at Full Bloom Counseling, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate detailing the expected costs of your therapy sessions. This estimate helps you understand and plan for the financial aspects of your care. It includes anticipated costs for therapy sessions and any other applicable fees.

How Does the Good Faith Estimate Work?

  1. Initial Estimate: When you begin therapy, we provide an estimate of the likely costs based on an initial evaluation.
  2. Updates: If your treatment plan changes or additional sessions are needed, we will update the estimate accordingly.
  3. Validity: The Good Faith Estimate is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
